My dear friend
Though I know you not
Are in my prayers
That you soon come back.

A faceless name
As some would say
Is who I pray for
To get well soon.

You remind me so much
Of another person unknown
That I truely wish I had
The chance to get to know.

We all pray every day
Even us that know you not
You are always in our prayers as well.

THE LODGE

A lodge so quiet,
In the morning glow,
Will soon come alive,
With skiers abound.

The far off bridge,
Will bring them in,
Carloads and truckloads,
To enjoy the snow.

We have an orchard in the east,
We have slopes all around,
We have dark clouds in the north,
From the mountains beyond.

We have trees and hills,
Across the way west,
Our skiers will ski,
In the south, west, and east.

When the sun starts to set,
We will set fire to the logs,
And serve hot chocolate,
In an old fashioned way,
And our visitors will sleep,
All comfy and warm.

CHRISTMAS

What is Christmas?
Does ne1 really know?
Are we really ppl made from dirt?
Or did we evolve from animals?

No1 can really answer any of these questions,
Even though they want to state
That the "Christian" Bible is correct,
Do they really know its right?

We have ppl that say we were made of dirt
We have a book that says the same thing
We have archeologists that prove them wrong
We have paleontologists that also prove them wrong.
</
p>

We have evidence that people & animals
Lived here many many many years
Before the ppl of Jesus ever did
So how do we really know who or what made our planet?</
center>

We have a holiday named Christmas
Ppl r supposed to b happy
Many r happy & healthy
Many r sad & unhealthy

Christmas "was" supposed to b the birth of
Christ,
Though the BIBLE doesn't state the exact day of his birth
ALL Christians "believe" it to be December 25th
So, again, How do we really know when his birth occurred?</
center>

Christmas was started long ago
Believed to b the day of Christs birth
It was supposed to b a Christian Holiday
But somewhere its gone wrong
And has turned into a monopoly
And the hugest MONEY maker
Of any other holiday, in any other season.

The "churches" say: "Give us money
& you can join us"
"GOD" said: "Enter all who may, and enter
"FREELY""
So, Does that give the churches the right to CHARGE us to come?
Actually, NO, it don't
We r supposed to go FREELY, NOT give every cent we have</
center>

Christmas is supposed to be a holiday
Celebrated throughout the world
Every December 25th
Of every year.

For some ppl it is a time of year
Where they actually get to splurge
And say that the bills can wait
Til after presents are gotten

Wasn't it quoted in the Bible
"It is better to give than receive"
I think I do recall seeing it
But can't remember the exact place.

The Bible says a lot of things
Do the people of the world listen
Do they do what Exodus 20 says to do
Nope, they sure don't

So, again, what is Christmas?
What or who is Christ
What or who is GOD
And, finally, who can say
That either of them really exist
Cuz from what I have seen
All we have is a BOOK stating it
But we have many "scientific" people
That have proven this BOOK wrong.

WHAT IS THE ACTUAL REAL MEANING OF CHRISTMAS?
NO ONE REALLY KNOWS FOR SURE.

This is a post from another blog site that I belong to. I
figured I would post it here as well.

Well, here we go with another Christmas without hearing from
my
son. It shouldn't surprise me, though, cuz I have spent the
last
15 yrs alone on christmas. But, I still have a lot of problems
that arise this time of year, so if I get "fussy" or
"moody" u
all know why.

There are a lot of things that have happened this time of
year,
and it all started in 1969 with the loss of my mother on
January
7th. Next came my step-mother's fk up of doing what she wanted
done with the child I had on December 24, 1979. I have no idea
if the child was born dead or alive, or if the child was a boy
or girl. I never signed a birth certificate for the child, or
a
death certificate for the child. I have also never seen the
child. Next is the fact that both my mother & grandmothers
are
December 13th & 15th (respectively). My grandmother died
in
2003, right after I moved into my apartment (the same MONTH I
moved in).

So, with my son pulling his BS over the last 15 yrs., I have
a
lot of problems that I have to deal with every year at this
time. I get VERY moody, and sometimes say things that are
uncalled for, so if I happen to do this in forums, plz ignore
me, cuz I really don't mean what I say sometimes.

This is one of the poems I wrote regarding not only my son,
but
a dear friend of mine as well. Its called Being Apart.

This is another poem that I wrote, also pertaining to a
friend,
but this friend, I met on the internet, and bcuz I moved,
shortly after meeting him, I lost contact with him, and was
never able to find him again. Its called A Letter To A
Friend.

I hope you enjoy reading them.
